This soon-to-be-family came from Texas to Angel Fire, NM for a vacation. When they arrived, their home didn’t have heat…and it was 25 degrees outside. Despite a long drive, moving into a hotel, and cold temperatures, we still captured some amazing smiles. Lynn and Jon will be married this summer, little Macy loves Jon and is along for the ride! Congratulations to a beautiful engagement and a lovely blended family!
Although this mama was only six months along, her maternity/Christmas card photos came out perfectly! This little baby bump was showcased with mommy and daddy and will make a “real” appearance on February 29th, leap year!
Congratulations to Amber and Joel and to the big changes that are coming soon! I’m so excited to meet this little darling and take some newborn portraits as well!
Every year brings changes to your family. Ginger and Amy celebrated their engagement and destination wedding with a vacation and honeymoon in Taos, NM! This same-sex marriage took place around the corner from Christmas which made the red sash, button-down, bouquet, and boutonniere beautiful accents for the season. The El Monte was decorated with beautiful seasonal greenery and the only thing that was missing was a fresh layer of snow! Congrats to Ginger and Amy, starting the New Year with a new marriage!
This shoot may have made my personal record for “most poses in the shortest amount of time.” I think this entire Christmas session was done in under four minutes. The wind was bitter cold but that cloudy sky and beautiful snow were absolutely perfect! For a two-year-old, this little guy did an amazing job and was an impeccable young model!
