It was unusually hot outside on this June day, but the large cottonwoods and weeping willows at El Monte Sagrado kept everyone cool at this outdoor wedding! Brittany and Reed were perfectly on time for their photos and we were able to get the pre-wedding, ceremony, and altar photos with out a hiccup (hooray)! The bride and groom and guests had so much fun at the ballroom reception with hilarious photo props and tons of laughing! Congratulations to Brittany and Reed!
Michelle and James could not have planned their destination wedding any better! Their small outdoor ceremony took place on the perfect day exhibiting the breathtaking fall foliage here in Taos, NM! The leaves on the ground were thick and crunchy and the vines crawling along the adobe were in the height of their saturation. Each tree variation offered a different color as their job was to advertise a wedding in autumn in Northern New Mexico!
This couple was wed at a private residence in Red River, NM. The wedding ceremony was officiated by the bride’s father and took place outdoors under the tall pine trees. There were about 40 guests with a wedding party of six people. The reception was catered by Guadlajara Grill of Taos, NM.
Mercedez Valdez designs flower arrangements that make your wedding come alive. Her contemporary, traditional, and unique compositions are made with love and care according to your ideas and requests. I love working with Mercedes because she is always on time and doesn’t leave until she knows everything is perfect. Thank you to Mercedes and Elegante Florals for awesome flowers and precise attention to detail!
Sharon and John live in Virginia and came to Taos to elope and have their intimate destination wedding ceremony in front of beautiful Taos Mountain. This springtime wedding took place at beautiful bed and breakfast La Hacienda del Sol right on Taos Main Street. The flowers were done locally by Mercedes of Elegante Floral. There was a plaid ribbon wrapped around the bouquet that matched the Scottish groom’s tux bow tie… cool!! Congratulations to Sharon and John!!
