These kids were happy and excited about their autumn family photo session at their home in Taos! These October shoots with children are so fun as the cool air and crunchy leaves energizes the little ones and smiles come much easier than the warm months of summertime! The apples were presented as bribery for some smiles, and they complemented the autumn photos in every way.
Fall foliage photo shoots are the best! James and Shannon waited to capture their engagement photos in the autumn we could capture the yellow leaves as well. The cottonwood trees on Burch Street provided amazing color for our backgrounds. We incorporated latila fences and adobe bricks into our photos to really get the southwest feeling. Juniper, James’ daughter was included to get some family photos as well.
Audrey and Robert had an intimate wedding ceremony at a Taos bed and breakfast, Hacienda del Sol. This couple walked down a unique aisle of green grass, created by absence of the beautiful autumn leaves that covered the rest of the Hacienda’s grounds. The mountains were a gorgeous backdrop to a perfect ceremony. Jimmy Stadler played acoustic guitar and there was a crisp autumn feeling in the air. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, there is NOTHING like a Taos wedding!
This gorgeous autumn day in Taos was perfect for a special engagement shoot. The 200 year old Cottonwood trees which line Burch Street in Taos turn to amazing shades of gold in the fall to create the perfect romantic backdrop for these memorable engagement photos. Congratulations to Mike and Misty of Taos!
