Maggie and Cory decided that the 17 degrees weather was fine a fine temperature for an outdoor wedding! This couple, adorned in fishnets, suspenders, and Chuck Taylors, were wed at local bed and breakfast, Hacienda del Sol. The bride and groom’s best friends joined them on the journey from Albuquerque to Taos for the early January destination wedding. Congratulations to Maggie and Cory, what a photogenic wedding!
This new baby has more sets of grandparents and godparents than anyone I’ve ever met! Also, this new baby was the first grand/god child for all of these sets of grandparents. I don’t think this baby gets much attention at all, am I right?
What fun for all of these family members to meet for a vacation at a cabin in the Taos mountains and have family portraits taken during this time too! This was the little guy’s first portrait session, and he did a knockout job! Congratulations to all of these grandparents, and a very lucky (and cute) baby too!
Traci and Jon have a true love story. They dated in high school and twenty years later they reconnect and realize they are still in love! Their New Year’s Eve day wedding was celebrated at a retreat center between Dixon and Embudo. The ceremony was situated perfectly on the river, under a gazebo, next to an outdoor fire place. The sound of the river was the only music required for a completely tranquil spot. Ted Wiard, good friend of Jon, officiated the ceremony.
This couple began their honeymoon in 2017, a new year and refreshing way to start a marriage and a lifetime together.
This soon-to-be-family came from Texas to Angel Fire, NM for a vacation. When they arrived, their home didn’t have heat…and it was 25 degrees outside. Despite a long drive, moving into a hotel, and cold temperatures, we still captured some amazing smiles. Lynn and Jon will be married this summer, little Macy loves Jon and is along for the ride! Congratulations to a beautiful engagement and a lovely blended family!
The temperature in Red River last Saturday morning was 34, and according to weather.com, it felt like 21. This photo shoot was a big dose of FREEZING for this Texas family who was visiting Red River for vacation.
We posed and shot FAST and got some winning photos! The children were amazing before they turned into total icicles–which is when we decided to end the photo session. Autumn in New Mexico, ever unpredictable!
