Taos High School Senior Pictures

Taos High School Senior Pictures

This is the best time of year for senior photos; the fall colors beautiful in October, and then you have this ‘chore’ checked off your list for the rest of the senior year. Usually a senior shoot takes about 1.5 hours and that includes up to six outfit changes. We meet at a convenient Taos location and usually we have a lot of fun. I love exploring new areas and am open to your suggestions for shooting spots.

Real Estate Photography for your Air B&B or VRBO Rental Home

Real Estate Photography for your Air B&B or VRBO Rental Home

I always love shooting real estate photos. There is virtually no posing and/or worrying about the subject moving. The light either is available or needs to be provided, there isn’t a worry of hack lighting or blowing out a wedding dress from the bright sun. The lighting could be called “easy.”
Call Poetic Images by Deanna to get some fantastic photos that will help sell your Air B&B or VRBO home rental. The owner of this condo said his bookings went up immediately after he updated his Air B&B listing with new, professional photos. Wow!

Small Wedding at Palacio de Marquesa in Taos, NM

Small Wedding at Palacio de Marquesa in Taos, NM

This Labor Day weekend wedding took place at El Monte Sagrado’s sister-site Palacio de Marquesa right in the center of Taos. Jill and David came to New Mexico from Texas to share their vows with their friends and family. The light was outstanding and the ceremony, presided by Dan Jones, was beautiful. After the wedding there was a sit dinner by local caterer, Manna, which is run by Chef Rochelle Woollard.

Vow Renewal Ceremony in Taos, NM

Vow Renewal Ceremony in Taos, NM

Laura and David tied the knot 12 years ago…and reaffirmed their vows to one another last weekend. A vow renewal is the perfect way to celebrate your marriage, and to reaffirm your commitment to each other.
Laura and David traveled to Taos to have their vow renewal ceremony at popular bed and breakfast, Hacienda del Sol. The “bride” and “groom” purchased one of the Hacienda’s wedding elopement packages that includes a small locally made wedding cake, professional flowers, a professional photographer (that’s us!), a wedding officiant, and two witnesses!

February Engagement Shoot for June Wedding

February Engagement Shoot for June Wedding

Had fun with this couple who I met at The Taos Wedding Expo! Unfortunately I am already booked on their wedding date, but I still had a blast photographing Tracy and Mario’s engagement shoot. After many cold months, the end-of-February weather felt balmy and pleasant. The early morning sun gave us some long, beautiful shadows. I loved the camouflage outfits and was amazed at how much they really did blend in with the backgrounds!
