Another awesome senior shoot with a Penasco High School senior! Adam was a great model and didn’t complain once about the cold and wind! We walked around The Overland Sheepskin Company and took photos for almost an hour. We were able to get about 100 fantastic shots with many of them being completely different poses. Congratulations to Adam and his upcoming graduation!
In the summer of 2015, Hayden and I began his senior photo shoot at the Taos County Fair; we captured this senior with his 4H animals. He wanted to do an additional shoot later in the winter, when there was snow on the ground.
I called Hayden in January to see if he wanted to schedule his “part II” senior session. OF COURSE he had broken his leg the day before while skiing! He decided to do the shoot later in the spring after his cast was gone. In these images Hayden is wearing a brace on his knee. Although Hayden was still on crutches, we did most of the shoot without them. The pictures came out great.
Here’s to Hayden and the entire class of 2016, and the unexpected surprises your senior year can bring!
It was such a pleasure working with Angel in Penasco, NM to capture her senior photos for her graduation invitations! Penasco still had a little bit of snow on the ground so we were able to utilize the snow to get a variety of colorful backgrounds. Here’s to Angel and all of the other seniors graduating in the class of 2016 in Penasco, NM! Hooray!
It was a very cool 36 degrees when I had this senior tromping through the snow to get the photos we wanted! Although we were very limited with the light, we were able to achieve portraits with many different backgrounds and many different looks. High school senior photos usually only take about one hour and we end up having fun! No matter if we are in the winter, autumn, spring, or summer, your seniors’ photos will be outstanding!
It’s hard to believe it’s “that” time of year again! Yes, Taos High School senior pictures for the yearbook are due on Halloween! In October we do a lot of senior sessions. I love how every senior has a different vision as to what they want from their senior photo shoot. This is Makayla who has recently located to Taos from out east. Have an awesome senior year, Makayla!
A senior sitting only takes about an hour and a half and is usually super-fun for your kid! Of course most seniors are a little nervous at first, but after about ten minutes they are chatty and excited they are getting their photos taken.
Being a high school senior is a milestone and I love to document this special time in your child’s life! I encourage seniors to bring up to six different outfits and any “props” they would also like to use!
