It’s the little details from wedding day that make your day so memorable (and my day so fun to photograph)! Ashleigh and Matthew didn’t miss a beat when doing their wedding planning. The dress was altered and pressed, the wedding rings were shined, the decorative Ball jars were adorned with pink roses and baby’s breath, hung from the apple orchard trees with great care. This wedding took place in the beautiful Taos Ski Valley with the ceremony on the bride’s private hacienda. The reception took place at the popular St. Bernard.
There is not a more beautiful backdrop for a wedding than the Sangre de Cristo mountain range that adorns the landscape of Taos, NM! For this reason, KTAOS Solar Center is a picture-perfect place to get married. Ali and Brian had an outdoor wedding in front of Taos Mountain and an outdoor reception to follow. After dinner was served, the bride, groom, and guests moved inside the venue for the first dance, the father/daughter dance, and to boogie down.
Sven and Amy brought 40 guests to Taos, NM to help them celebrate their April wedding ceremony and reception! There was a beautiful grey mist over Taos Mountain and a crisp spring feeling in the air. Their wedding ceremony took place at a local bed and breakfast and was adorned with beautiful music from a local harpist.
A HUGE thanks to The Taos News for choosing Poetic Images by Deanna’s photography to adorn the 2013 wedding guide! We are honored and humbled. An additional THANK YOU to the Taos community for supporting us over the last 10 years!! Here’s to another outstanding wedding season!
Red River lends it’s beauty so well to wedding day!! The gorgeous snow covered hills are a beautiful landscaping for a white dress and dark suit. The creek is picture perfect in the family photographs we took behind the Red River Convention Center.
