Outdoor December Elopement

Outdoor December Elopement

Another awesome elopement package!! This couple came up to Taos from Albuquerque to escape the big city and to tie-the-knot! Taos had a surprise snow the night prior to this outdoor wedding and the continued wind blew the remaining leaves off of the trees, onto the snow! The wind stood still while the ceremony was performed and the snow brought a quiet beauty. Congrats to Martha and Elias and their blessed wedding on first real snow of 2018!

Angel Fire Winter Family Portraits

Angel Fire Winter Family Portraits

Cat and her family came to northern New Mexico from Texas for a snowy winter vacation, and it snowed and snowed! Beautiful conifers adorned the property surrounding their cabin and they were a gorgeous backdrop for these family portraits. Everyone suited up in their winter boots and we knocked this photo session out in 45 minutes which included a quick drive to capture the ski slopes in the background too. As soon as we were done with these pictures, the snow started up again. Cheers to a very snowy winter!!!

Engagement Photography Session with Snow!

Engagement Photography Session with Snow!

These two are at school in UNM in Albuquerque and will get married up in Northern New Mexico right on the river! We started this shoot at one location and drove less than four miles to another location. The photos look like they are in completely different areas with the warm sunshine in some, and cold shad and snow in the others. We were so lucky to have a little bit of snow for this shoot, the first snow portraits I’ve taken this winter, and it’s January!!

Extended Family Christmas Photos in Angel Fire, NM

Everyone put up with a little brisk January wind to get these darling family photos! This family came to Angel Fire from Texas to snowmobile in the New Mexico mountains (which wasn’t possible because of the warm winter we’ve had). Although we have had so little precipitation this season, it was a treat to have a small area with some patchy snow to add a little more “wintery” feeling to these fun family portraits!

Outdoor January Wedding at 17 Degrees

Outdoor January Wedding at 17 Degrees

Maggie and Cory decided that the 17 degrees weather was fine a fine temperature for an outdoor wedding! This couple, adorned in fishnets, suspenders, and Chuck Taylors, were wed at local bed and breakfast, Hacienda del Sol. The bride and groom’s best friends joined them on the journey from Albuquerque to Taos for the early January destination wedding. Congratulations to Maggie and Cory, what a photogenic wedding!
