Taos Wedding on a Snowy December Day

Taos Wedding on a Snowy December Day

Manndi and Justin’s wedding ceremony was indoors El Pueblito United Methodist Church in El Prado, NM. The stained glass altar backdrop was pretty with the Christmas decorations. This bride and groom eloped to Taos with dreams of an outdoor ceremony with mountain views. Instead they were greeted by a blizzard, not a mountain in sight! After their wedding ceremony the newlyweds laughed and played in the snow, posed for photos, and stayed warm by the power of love.

A Cop and a Lawyer Elope to New Mexico

A Cop and a Lawyer Elope to New Mexico

This fun couple had such a great wedding date…1-11-22! Although this couple traveled to Arroyo Hondo from Texas and the temperature was 26 degrees I don’t think Carrie and Matt felt the cool air one bit. The elopement on their rental’s porch had beautiful views and a blue fire burned nearby. We captured the obligatory frisking shots since Matt is a cop. This lawyer/cop team are on their way to happily ever after! Congratulations!

Two Brides Married in May at Hacienda del Sol

Two Brides Married in May at Hacienda del Sol

These brides came all the way from Portland, Oregon to be married in this magical little mountain town! Both lovers of Taos and the outdoors, the wedding ceremony was under the cottonwoods in the late afternoon. Small and intimate, this wedding was both Christian and Jewish and the Ketubah was signed! The tiny reception was complete with a cake cutting and nearly a cake stabbing!

An April Elopement in the Cool Mountains of Taos

An April Elopement in the Cool Mountains of Taos

New Mexico is known for it’s gorgeous sunshine and warm spring days. But not every outdoor wedding in New Mexico can be planned in advance and still have perfect weather on the day of the celebration! Stephanie and Trevor happened to get a cloudy, somewhat cool and breezy, April wedding day in the mountains of Taos. And it was perfect. The clouds set a dramatic mood along with Stephanie’s hat and Trevor’s purple tie. The horse across the street was out and about because of the cool temperatures. The gardens at SpiriTaos, still in hibernation but beautiful with earth tones and mountain views. Congratulations to this couple and their happily ever after that will be full of sunshine, no matter the weather.
