This bride and groom took a getaway weekend from Albuquerque and came up to Taos for their elopement at the Rio Grande Gorge. Their ceremony was officiated by Dan Jones of Embracing Ceremony. After the vows the couple exchanged necklaces instead of rings. The ceremony is currently a secret until they announce their marriage “down the road” when they are with friends and family. Methodist pastor, Steve Wiard, officiated the late afternoon ceremony. The bride and groom had a exquisite dinner in Anaconda’s wine room after their marriage.
There is nothing like a snowy, Christmasy, Taos wedding! Although there was snow on the ground and the temperature was frigid, this bride did not complain once during her outdoor December wedding! The blanket of snow was so beautiful with the bride’s white dress. The cake cutting and toast took place inside where the champagne was cold, but the bride and groom were warm!
