This little boy closed his eyes, put his hat over his head, and turned around so we could not take photos of him! His parents and I talked and encouraged and pleaded and bribed and begged, but we were dealing with a very smart two year old. The photos we did get are still beautiful. And now this little boy is a big brother, so the next photo shoot will be really exciting!
This couple is busy getting ready for their wedding on Easter weekend! Monique and Miguel will celebrate their wedding with a small ceremony and reception of close friends and family. This marriage will take place at Stella’s with dinner and drinks to follow. There is also talk about getting a limousine for the traditional drive (and lots of honking) around the Taos plaza!
This February shoot was chilly but the photos came out terrific! The lines and the dramatic contrast achieved in winter photography are interesting and visually exciting. Many people have their minds set on a ‘green’ background, or something with flowers. It’s hard to explain that the beauty and calm of snow actually brings warmth to an image. The cold adds a little natural rosy color to skin and keeps us laughing and having a good time! Even if it’s wintertime, call and schedule your outdoor maternity photo session to document your pregnancy! We are ready for the temporary cold if you are!
Lucy and Paula came up from Southern New Mexico to enjoy the mountains and get married! The wedding took place at Taos’ resort, El Monte Sagrado in the afternoon. The sunshine was warm and it was truly a perfect day for a marriage! May Lucy and Paula have many more Valentine’s Day celebrations to celebrate their anniversary and never-ending love!
Little Brogan woke up from a hard sleep and wasn’t very excited about his 4-month-old baby portraits (and first professional baby modeling session)! After lots of tickling and convincing, I captured a few of this baby boy’s precious toothless smiles.
