Local Taos residents, Rachel and Justin, had an intimate outdoor wedding ceremony to celebrate their love and commitment on Valentine’s Day! There were about 40 guests present, all close friends and family. Justin’s Scottish ethnicity influenced the red plaid which was a beautiful combination with the heart decorations. The full moon was still present behind the cloud cover and the night temperature was warm for February. This beautiful couple enjoyed a reception at Old Martina’s Hall.
These two beautiful ladies had a mother-daughter get-away from Denver to Taos! We enjoyed a crisp autumn evening together at resort El Monte Sagrado. It was fun to stroll along the grounds and take advantage of the crunchy texture of the leaves and the plants in an array of colors. Mavis and Aaron won a free engagement sitting from Poetic Images by entering our website contest online. When I found out that they have a year old son, we decided to get some family photographs as well. The leaves on the trees were changing and offered us colorful and unique natural backdrops. Mavis and Aaron will exchange their wedding vows next August at the Angel Fire Country Club.

With the current state of bare trees and snow on the ground, it’s hard to believe this wedding was just over a month ago! Anne and Kevin picked the perfect weekend to get married under the beautiful fall foliage of autumn in Taos, NM!
