These brides came all the way from Portland, Oregon to be married in this magical little mountain town! Both lovers of Taos and the outdoors, the wedding ceremony was under the cottonwoods in the late afternoon. Small and intimate, this wedding was both Christian and Jewish and the Ketubah was signed! The tiny reception was complete with a cake cutting and nearly a cake stabbing!

These precious ladies gave us some toothless grins despite the 28 degree weather! We edited these photos down to 106 fantastic photos–we took them in only 40 minutes (including breaks in the warm car)! The photographers here click VERY QUICKLY during these outdoor photo sessions in the wintertime!
This was a shoot we couldn’t miss as it’s the 2nd baby milestone, sitting up! The next milestone is nine months old, when the babies are standing up during holding onto something. Happy 1/2 Birthday to these princesses!!

This bride and groom were long time Taos locals before moving away and settling up in Colorado. The church, First Presbyterian of Taos, is conveniently located in the middle of Taos next to Kit Carson Park and a beautiful church for a wedding ceremony in a sanctuary. The exterior and interior of this old church are the traditional Pueblo style: adobe on the outside and adorned indoors with vigas on the ceiling and a simple cross on the wall. Afterwards the photographer took this couple out for a few photographs with the great Taos Mountain. Congratulations to lovely newlyweds!
