The autumn colors made fantastic backgrounds for all photos! Local Taos real estate agent, Jade Anaya, used the fall as an opportunity to update her photos for her business cards. We have competitive prices on our head shots and business website photo sessions. Give us a call to keep your business up-to-date and visually stimulating for your clients!
Per usual we had a limited time to do these two-year-old portraits, and after that two-year-olds stop being models and start being toddlers again! Brogan and his parents have been clients of mine since Brogan was an infant. He is fun to adventure around with as he does his portraits; he is a mini-man and is always on a mission! Call us so we can capture your family while the weather is still nice and fun to play in. The peak of the fall foliage will be here in a week, this gives us beautiful light and backgrounds, we can’t go wrong!
This darling couple road tripped all the way from Portland, Oregon to Taos, New Mexico to get married with Shaman, Sandra Chestnutt. The wedding took place on the mesa in the evening before sunset. We had outstanding light and perfect weather. There wasn’t a person for miles and the quiet was welcomed and embraced; out of no where an army helicopter was above us and hovered above the bride and groom, and then it was gone…an unexpected congratulations! The views of the Rio Grande Gorge were stunning and the ceremony was memorable. Congratulations to Lisa and Evan, a delightful pair who will no doubt live happily ever after.
Megan was born and raised in Taos, New Mexico and returned “home” (all the way from Oregon) for her wedding at Adobe and Pines Inn. This outdoor wedding at local bed and breakfast was presided by the bride’s uncles. The bride and groom enjoyed a “first look” before the ceremony began. The aisle was made by flower petals and the the ceremony took place in the grassy green courtyard with statue St. Francis overseeing the event.
Jessica and Auda are brides from Texas who came to their New Mexico neighbors to get married in front of Taos Mountain at SpiriTaos. The photos from Jessica and Auda’s wedding are some of my favorite “end of ceremony” photos ever. Usually the married couple kisses and then walks down the aisle for the recessional. Jessica and Auda were different. Their emotion and excitement was ecstatically beautiful and so photogenic. These are 11 successive images that I captured in less than one minute at the end of this ceremony. And they are beautiful.
This Labor Day weekend wedding took place at El Monte Sagrado’s sister-site Palacio de Marquesa right in the center of Taos. Jill and David came to New Mexico from Texas to share their vows with their friends and family. The light was outstanding and the ceremony, presided by Dan Jones, was beautiful. After the wedding there was a sit dinner by local caterer, Manna, which is run by Chef Rochelle Woollard.
