Darcy and Brian were wed under a chuppah. Symbolically, the chuppah is a house that represents that the bride and groom’s life will be spent together. The wedding ceremony took place at El Monte Sagrado’s Sacred Circle and was set up in a circular fashion. The reception was a festive occasion with lawn games outdoors and a cocktail hour before a sit down dinner was served.

What fun to document the first time that same sex marriage licenses were issued in Taos County! New Mexicans came to the courthouse to pick up their marriage licenses and to get married! At least four weddings took place immediately, directly in front of the Taos County Courthouse. There were tears of joy and sounds of happiness as people finally began their “legal” road of “happily ever after.”
Lia and Brandon were married in the Sacred Circle at the El Monte Sagrado. Wedding day started out with extremely rainy conditions but the weather cleared up in perfect timing for the arrival of the guests and the sun came out just as the by the beautiful bride walked down the aisle.
There is nothing like the feeling of a small and intimate wedding. This bride and groom came to Taos, NM to tie the knot and celebrate their love with only one another. They will have a reception celebration in Albuquerque, NM after they return from their honeymoon.

Christina was born and raised in New York City, her father Paul Peralta-Ramos is the great, great grandson of Henry Huttleston Rogers one of the founders of Standard Oil. Her Mother Inga Rizell, a Swedish model, has been recognized on Americas ‘Best Dressed’ list for her Elegance.
Christina has been modeling since she was a child. After graduating from The American Academy Of Dramatic Arts in New York she had a career as an ingenue in Hollywood. She has appeared in films, television shows, stage productions, and music videos.
Christina has won beauty pageants and swimsuit competitions. She has been photographed for fashion and swimsuit magazines, posters, calendars, web pages, promotions, and publicity.
Presently Christina sits on the Board of The Millicent Rogers Museum where she is starting an archives department of all the hundreds of photographs she has inherited from her grandmother Millicent Rogers. Christina is the museum’s face and spokes woman, interviewing with authors for books and articles on her glamorous family.
