Laura and David tied the knot 12 years ago…and reaffirmed their vows to one another last weekend. A vow renewal is the perfect way to celebrate your marriage, and to reaffirm your commitment to each other.
Laura and David traveled to Taos to have their vow renewal ceremony at popular bed and breakfast, Hacienda del Sol. The “bride” and “groom” purchased one of the Hacienda’s wedding elopement packages that includes a small locally made wedding cake, professional flowers, a professional photographer (that’s us!), a wedding officiant, and two witnesses!
The air was crisp and cool but we still had the wonderful opportunity to photograph this Valentine’s Day wedding outside in February! This bride and groom came to Taos from Albuquerque to elope (they brought a few good friends for support). They choose for their wedding to be held on the staircase at El Monte Sagrado in Taos. They choose the staircase so they could see all of their friends perfectly during their wedding ceremony. Congratulations to Martha and Ted!
This couple was fun, hilarious, and truly in love! I arrived early to get some romanticy photos of Megan and Jon. We had so much fun walking around, and they were candid and photogenic! Their morning wedding was brisk but it was a beautiful day for February. The turquoise colors (all shawls crocheted by the bride) were vibrant and very New Mexico. Cheers to a lovely couple. A big thanks for coming to Taos, NM for your outdoor, destination wedding!
This was the best gay wedding ever! Dan Jones and I were thrilled to be chosen to officiate and photograph this Taos wedding. What a wonderful group of people, who had already know one another for 30 years! What a special wedding to document!
This was a destination wedding, a destination, double wedding. A destination, double, gay wedding. FUN!!!
These couples were awesome and we all hit it off immediately! The two mile hike in El Salto was beautiful and we chatted the entire way. I wore the same shirt as the bride. We both picked the same “casual” wear. A true LOL moment that will probably never happen to me at a wedding again!
Every wedding is different. Sometimes VERY different. I had a blast at this wedding and I look forward to the next very different wedding too.
The sunshine was gorgeous and hot at this 10am wedding ceremony in El Prado! The sunflowers were in full bloom and the mountain was majestic. Popular wedding venue, SpiriTaos, was in all it’s glory with the end of the summer gardens in pristine condition.
Megan, Aaron, and I went to Carson National Forest to finish out our photography time, with a quick visit to the labyrinth at San Geronimo on the way. The shade was cool and inviting and this beautiful couple just fell into pose without any help from me.
Congratulations to this awesome couple from Southern New Mexico, and may they have a very “happily ever after!”
This sweet couple came all the way from Massachusetts to New Mexico for their destination wedding at El Monte Sagrado, a four diamond resort in Northern New Mexico. Many people claim that Taos is a magical place, and this couple may agree. The pouring rain stopped in perfect timing for this wedding ceremony to start. And the rain commenced again as soon as I packed up my camera gear. Congratulations to these awesome East Coast newly weds! May the luck of wedding-day-rain follow you forever!
