In a 15-minute photo shoot we capture several different poses of your child. If you have more than one student, we will photograph your children separately, and with their siblings. Photo sessions are private and quick and your photos are ready to proof in one week. This free photo sitting is available to all Taos and Colfax County students but the actual photos session must be done in Town of Taos. Few things can match the cheerful beauty of the sunflower-season in Taos, especially when it serves as the backdrop for family portraits. Recently, I had the joy of photographing a lovely mother and her two young boys amidst the golden blooms in Taos, New Mexico. The bright sunflowers, the playful energy of the boys, and the loving bond they share with their mother made for an enchanting and memorable photoshoot.
Taos is known for its stunning landscapes and vibrant artistic community, and in late summer to early fall, the sunflower fields become a highlight. These tall, sunny flowers create a striking sea of yellow, their faces following the sun across the sky. This natural beauty provided a perfect, whimsical setting for capturing the essence of family love.
I photographed Erin’s first baby as an infant, and a did a photo shoot of her 2nd pregnancy, and several family shoots in-between. Needless to say I was thrilled when Erin was in town with her four children and called me to capture her children’s smiles. We shot these photos at Lumina Gallery. We had the entire place to ourselves and had fun playing on by the sculptures.
The Call family is one big family! All five of the individual familiescame from five different states to meet up in Angel Fire, New Mexico for an extended family vacation! These travelers literally took planes, trains, and automobiles to make it out to this little mountain town. The 14 children and 10 adults all stayed in one rental home together and were ready when I arrived. Although we at times there was chaos, we captured some great photos and made precious memories for this huge family.
These sisters’ love for one another was so photogenic! Their darling haircuts and outfits complimented each other and the yellow and green natural backgrounds. The crisp, morning autumn air kept us moving through the poses so we would stay warm, we had this shoot done in under 40 minutes!
