Red River lends it’s beauty so well to wedding day!! The gorgeous snow covered hills are a beautiful landscaping for a white dress and dark suit. The creek is picture perfect in the family photographs we took behind the Red River Convention Center.
The most common background color request for photographs is green. But I love wintertime photographs. The brown grasses and the white snow bring so much contrast to this couple’s engagement photos. After a few cold nights in Taos, we were worried that our “autumn leaves” photo shoot would be a bust! We found some brilliant colors in the gardens of the Henningsen Fine Art Gallery. The pond reflected the yellows beautifully, the leftover berries brought color and texture to the bare trees, and the leaves on the ground were so photogenic as a background!
The fall foliage at this time of year is brilliant! I photographed this engagement sitting down in the trees by the Tamaya Resort in Bernalillo, NM. The orange and gold leaves on the trees gave our photos a beautiful autumn feel.
