This incredible couple came from Georgia to get married in Taos, NM! The wedding party was made up of four people, the best friends of the grooms. The shadows were long and the light was beautiful. The ceremony took place right before sunset and the glow on Taos’ mountains was outstanding.
I had so much fun “hanging out” with this gal as did this photo shoot. Not only does this Taos Academy senior attend AP classes (so she is receiving college credit) but she also works and babysits in her “free” time! Here’s to all of the Taos seniors who are graduating in 2015! What a lot of hard work and a great accomplishment!
While attending a wedding in the mountains of Utah, I took some time out to capture some photos for this family’s 2014 Christmas cards! This was one of my favorite photo shoots of all time! This was a spontaneous shoot that was set up about 30 minutes before the sunset. I explained that we didn’t have enough time to do a “real” shoot with this limited window of light. This mother and daughter “team” (I just cannot explain them any other way!) just wanted a casual photo session, so we rushed to the closest pine tree. I didn’t even have to tell these folks how to pose! These two were so candid and carefree with one another and I believe these pictures radiate their happiness and love. Gwyn (the daughter) also brought her friend along for a few quick pictures (which we took in about 1.5 minutes). Again, so candid and cute! I wish every photo shoot was this carefree and easy to pull off. Thanks to this awesome team!!
Danielle and Chris were wed with Danielle’s father officiating the ceremony. The sky was a gorgeous blue and the beautiful Taos fall foilage just beginning to turn. Danielle’s bridesmaids were in black dresses with splashes of red adorning their feet and hair. The majestic Taos Mountain turned a beautiful pink as the sun set on this couple’s perfect wedding day.
