Boudoir Session to Celebrate “50 and Fabulous”

Deb wanted to give herself the best 50th birthday present ever–so she decided on a boudoir photo shoot here at Poetic Images by Deanna! Deb brought in some different props (the masks are so cool!) and outfits, and we created photographs that show off this gorgeous woman in various poses: sexy, sassy, classy, unique, and beautiful. Boudoir sessions are for women and men of all shapes and sizes. These sessions are not only fun, but they build up your confidence in the fact that yes, you do look beautiful on camera!

Town of Taos Eco Park Grand Opening

I won the bid and received a contract through the Town of Taos to photograph the opening day of the Taos Eco Park. The Taos Eco Park is a state of the art synthetic turf field that has been 20 years in the making. The park opened with one field; two more fields will be added to the park. Also the entire parking lot will be covered with solar panels, meaning the Eco Park will be run totally on solar power.
The Taos Eco Park’s ribbon cutting and grand opening was a warm and windy day, everything went off without a hitch.

Photos of an Empty Taos Eco Park

In my contract as the official photographer for the Town of Taos Eco Park, I was to take some photos of the FIFA certified soccer field while it was empty. I loved being alone to walk around on that bouncy turf to take photos with the sunshine and the sunset, the mountains, the park’s development, the lights and parking lot. I love that the parking lot will be covered in solar panels and the Taos Eco Park will run off of solar power. It was really neat getting this contract and being part of the opening of this green park.

High School Senior Portraits for an Espanola Graduate

High school senior photos are a perfect way to document the incredible accomplishment of a journey finally completed. You may bring up to six different outfits to your senior photo session and we will photograph you with your guitar, your car, in your sports gear, cap and gown, on your snowboard or skis, in your favorite t-shirt, or your best dress clothes, or whatever you may challenge us with. I love the traditional Native outfit that Dino is wearing in some of these photos. The turquoise is so brilliant and the bead work is amazing.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Cathedral in Downtown Taos, NM

Our Lady of Guadalupe is the cathedral right off of the plaza in Taos, NM. This church is special to the groom, Jose, because he and his father constructed all of the woodwork for the church, including the altar. Angelina and Jose had a huge wedding ceremony and reception as they were both born and raised in the area (Angelina from Questa, Jose from Taos). We had amazing light at the end of the night when we stepped outside to photograph some romantics at the Sagebrush Convention Center.
