This February shoot was chilly but the photos came out terrific! The lines and the dramatic contrast achieved in winter photography are interesting and visually exciting. Many people have their minds set on a ‘green’ background, or something with flowers. It’s hard to explain that the beauty and calm of snow actually brings warmth to an image. The cold adds a little natural rosy color to skin and keeps us laughing and having a good time! Even if it’s wintertime, call and schedule your outdoor maternity photo session to document your pregnancy! We are ready for the temporary cold if you are!
Lucy and Paula came up from Southern New Mexico to enjoy the mountains and get married! The wedding took place at Taos’ resort, El Monte Sagrado in the afternoon. The sunshine was warm and it was truly a perfect day for a marriage! May Lucy and Paula have many more Valentine’s Day celebrations to celebrate their anniversary and never-ending love!
This was a VERY cold weekend in Taos and this couple did not complain one time! Despite the cold, we had a lot of fun getting to know one another during this engagement session. I will shoot this couple’s wedding in May in Santa Fe so an engagement shoot was a great way for us to work together prior to the big day!
Professional business head shots are extremely important in this social media day-of-age! An important way for businesses to connect and network are through important venues such as Google+, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, and so on. We have been helping business professionals with awesome head shots since social media has been around. In 30 minutes we can photograph many different poses so you have a good selection to choose your photos from. And it’s painless. Win-win.
Little Brogan woke up from a hard sleep and wasn’t very excited about his 4-month-old baby portraits (and first professional baby modeling session)! After lots of tickling and convincing, I captured a few of this baby boy’s precious toothless smiles.
No matter if it’s summer or winter, the El Monte Sagrado is a lovely place to elope and make your vows! This couple was wed on a gorgeous January day with sunshine and unusually warm temperatures. Methodist pastor, Steve Wiard, officiated the late afternoon ceremony. The bride and groom had a exquisite dinner in Anaconda’s wine room after their marriage.
