Taos Family Photos Outside in November

Taos Family Photos Outside in November

No matter what time of year it is, we’ll find rich, earthy backgrounds that will be gorgeous in your family photos. This shoot took place in-between the autumn leaves and the winter snow. The brisk air and crunch leaves and empty park reminded us that it was November. The young girls were adorable in sweaters and plaid flannel skirts and we captured smiles with many different backgrounds and poses. Grandma and grandpa were able to wrangle these kids with bribery of the playground and visions of ice cream. Hooray for the smiles and special memories that were made from this photo session.

Pandemic Wedding Elopement with Best Friends

Pandemic Wedding Elopement with Best Friends

Since traveling by air is considered risky behavior during a pandemic, this bride and groom brought their best friends to Taos, NM on a road trip all the way from San Francisco! We had perfect weather for this December wedding and with the wedding ceremony and mini-reception taking place outdoors. The sun was overhead and warm during the afternoon ceremony overlooked by Taos Mountain.

Like everything else, Covid-19 has made school pictures different this year! We met this family in a special and private spot in Carson National Forest right outside of Town of Taos. The outdoor area was ideal for removing masks and documenting the children’s ever-changing smiles. The girl in jeans is an only child and a surrogate-sibling to the other two kiddos. The two girls are best friends and have been raised together since toddlerhood. This boy considers both girls his sisters.
