This bride and groom had a beautiful wedding ceremony which honored the marigolds and the orange and black traditional colors of the El Dia de los Muertos celebration. They had their best friends and family with them on this celebration during the golden hour. The sun danced in the shadows and gave us a lot of creative light to play with. The bride was all smiles and the ceremony was complete with a knot-tying ceremony. The officiant was a dear friend of the bride’s and came from out of town. Congratulations to fun couple, Amy and Ross!
This bride and groom planned their destination wedding on the perfect October weekend, when the autumn leaves were in their height of their color! The Angel Fire resort was stunning with gold leaves dusting the ground with beauty and texture. The bride’s autumn bouquet choice was vivid and brilliant with the surrounding fall foliage. The air was still during the ceremony on what was otherwise a breezy afternoon. Congratulations to this lovely couple on their perfect autumn wedding day!
These ladies were married five years ago, in a double wedding ceremony with their best friends (two males). Dan Jones was the officiant for this wedding and I was the photographer. The six of us had a wonderful time on the wedding hike and ceremony adventure. Dan and I named these people, “the fabulous four.” Fast forward to this anniversary shoot! Even though the guys were not interested in an anniversary shoot, we did get a pic of all four of these besties when we shot the ladies. Congratulations on five years to both of these couples. What an awesome team of friends!!
These kids were happy and excited about their autumn family photo session at their home in Taos! These October shoots with children are so fun as the cool air and crunchy leaves energizes the little ones and smiles come much easier than the warm months of summertime! The apples were presented as bribery for some smiles, and they complemented the autumn photos in every way.
These sisters’ love for one another was so photogenic! Their darling haircuts and outfits complimented each other and the yellow and green natural backgrounds. The crisp, morning autumn air kept us moving through the poses so we would stay warm, we had this shoot done in under 40 minutes!
This darling family was in Taos for their fall break and scheduled a family photo shoot during their vacation! Carson National Forest looked so perfect for this afternoon photo session with yellow grasses and leaves starting to come through the green. The children were excited with the brisk air and open area to play. We captured these smiles in 45 minutes which is the perfect amount of time for little ones before they lose attention. Cheers to the end of a wonderful summer and the start of a gorgeous autumn.
