Red River lends it’s beauty so well to wedding day!! The gorgeous snow covered hills are a beautiful landscaping for a white dress and dark suit. The creek is picture perfect in the family photographs we took behind the Red River Convention Center.
The most common background color request for photographs is green. But I love wintertime photographs. The brown grasses and the white snow bring so much contrast to this couple’s engagement photos. Additionally, the bright and vivid colors in the clothing definitely add “pop” to each image. If you can bear the colder weather, the winter photo-shoot is the way to go!
At this time of the year, we are SO busy taking family, children, and baby portraits for people to send with their Christmas cards! This lovely family came up to Taos from Espanola, and they were dressed for the season– even their dog had a Christmas sweater! Jessica and Mario are very busy parents of the cutest set of twins! Speaking as an experienced photographer, it is extremely difficult to get one kid to look (and smile) at the camera, what an extra challenge to get TWO children to cooperate! We all laughed as we chased around these kiddos, trying our hardest to get the kids in the right place at the right time. The fun never stops during family photography sessions!
Ashley and Jacob came all the way from Gallup, NM to elope on Valentine’s Day weekend! This beautiful couple chose to have their destination wedding in Taos, NM because of the beauty and spirituality that Northern New Mexico radiates. These newlyweds wanted an outdoor ceremony with mountain views and this is what they received on this beautiful day, in February, under the warm, high-altitude sunshine.
