These women came to Taos for an intimate ceremony at the lovely Touchstone Inn. There were five close friends and family whom came to witness this wedding. The cake was made by Bren Price (owner of Touchstone Inn) and the ceremony was performed by Sandra Chestnutt.
Lucy and Paula came up from Southern New Mexico to enjoy the mountains and get married! The wedding took place at Taos’ resort, El Monte Sagrado in the afternoon. The sunshine was warm and it was truly a perfect day for a marriage! May Lucy and Paula have many more Valentine’s Day celebrations to celebrate their anniversary and never-ending love!
No matter if it’s summer or winter, the El Monte Sagrado is a lovely place to elope and make your vows! This couple was wed on a gorgeous January day with sunshine and unusually warm temperatures. Methodist pastor, Steve Wiard, officiated the late afternoon ceremony. The bride and groom had a exquisite dinner in Anaconda’s wine room after their marriage.
There is nothing like a snowy, Christmasy, Taos wedding! Although there was snow on the ground and the temperature was frigid, this bride did not complain once during her outdoor December wedding! The blanket of snow was so beautiful with the bride’s white dress. The cake cutting and toast took place inside where the champagne was cold, but the bride and groom were warm!
Ginger and Amy celebrated their engagement and destination wedding with a vacation and honeymoon in Taos, NM! This same-sex marriage took place around the corner from Christmas which made the red sash, button-down, bouquet, and boutonniere beautiful accents for the season. The El Monte was decorated with beautiful seasonal greenery and the only thing that was missing was a fresh layer of snow! Congrats to Ginger and Amy, starting the New Year with a new marriage!
This couple did not want anything fancy for their wedding so they decided to get married at the Taos County Courthouse. Judge Shannon officiated the casual wedding ceremony. The wedding vows and ring exchange was completed in less than five minutes, it took longer to get the marriage license! When we walked outside we were greeted with a winter snowstorm (there wasn’t a bit of snow on the ground when we entered the courthouse) which was a surprise and certainly good luck on a wedding day. Congratulations to Alida and Mark!
