This was a fun morning engagement session with a couple that has a new home in Taos! It was fun to use different spaces around Chasity and Bil’s new home. The mountain views are so inviting out on the mesa, with or without the fire-season smoke! This couple will also host their September wedding at their house with wedding guests coming from all over the United States. Congratulations on a wonderful engagement!

Callie and Russel came to the mountains of Taos, NM for their annual April vacation which coincided with Callie’s 50th birthday! These two stayed at El Monte Sagrado a beautiful resort in town. We had fun walking around the grounds of El Monte and tracking down the early blooms on trees to use for backgrounds. We had a super calm morning amongst this unusually windy spring so it was fun to be outside in the cool mountain springtime temperatures.

Crystal and her boys were head to toe in Carhart and they look like models in the photos! We had to shoot this despite the cold 27 degree temperatures because our schedules couldn’t mesh any other day, and spring was on the way! The cold temperatures made the brothers silly and rowdy, by the end of our photo session both Robbie and Roman were exhausted!

Manndi and Justin’s wedding ceremony was indoors El Pueblito United Methodist Church in El Prado, NM. The stained glass altar backdrop was pretty with the Christmas decorations. This bride and groom eloped to Taos with dreams of an outdoor ceremony with mountain views. Instead they were greeted by a blizzard, not a mountain in sight! After their wedding ceremony the newlyweds laughed and played in the snow, posed for photos, and stayed warm by the power of love.

With fur capes and Sorel snow boots, the bride, bridesmaids, and flower girls were decked out and ready for this wintertime wedding in Red River, NM! The ceremony took place in Carson National Forest at Junebug Campground. The bride and groom travelled from Texas for their destination micro wedding in this winter wonderland. This fun couple had such a great wedding date…1-11-22! Although this couple traveled to Arroyo Hondo from Texas and the temperature was 26 degrees I don’t think Carrie and Matt felt the cool air one bit. This Louisiana couple came to Taos, NM to elope! They tied the knot at Hacienda del Sol under the bare cottonwoods. Charlie, the chihuahua puppy wore a tuxedo. The turquoise trim and gate added beautiful color to the photos. A first dance followed the evening ceremony and then we went to the Rio Grande gorge to capture some photos during the sunset.

Sabrina and Joshua were married at Taos Ski Valley in October. Their wedding elopement was on a foot bridge which was private and quiet. We found a patch of snow after the ceremony and shot the first snow-shots of this winter season! Joshua’s best dog was dressed in a necktie. Dan Jones officiated the ceremony for and the flowers were designed by Mercedes Valdez of Elegante Florals.
